The Puck Press is heat and ultraviolet sensitive. Don't put your puck press in any sort of dishwasher or subject to high temperature water above 140º F. Also, don't leave them in bright sunlight like in a kitchen window or on the seat of your car, as UV can make the plastic degrade at an accelerated rate.
Wash thoroughly with soap and warm water upon receiving your puck press and after each use. We recommend a typical dish brush for scrubbing. Immediately after washing, dry your puck press thoroughly.
For additional sanitization, you can use Steramine tablets according to the manufacturer's instructions being sure to not soak your puck press for more than 10 minutes. Again, don't use water that is above 140º F, or the puck press may soften and warp.”
