So far, so great - 3 years of swimming, no leaks, no deterioration in cusion material
Color: Aqua
After a 4-year hiatus, due to Covid and a knew operation, I've gotten fully back into the swim of things. I was extremely surprised and even more pleased to find that the goggles worked just the same as when I left off swimming. Often, the cushioning material around the eyes dries out and deteriorates from a combination of pool chemicals and age. Not so with the Aegend goggles - it was like they were brand new. The goggles are comfortable (mind you, in order to get a water-proof fit, any goggles are going to be right). They fit my face extremely well. They don't leak and are high-quality. I've tried more expensive goggles from Aqua Sphere (Vista model - returned when they fell apart) and Tyr (good goggles, but a bit small), and the Aegend goggles are superior in many ways. I would have expected to pay twice as much for the quality of these goggles. Mind you, head shape and size can change the fit of goggles, but it seems to me the desing the Aegend goggles lends itself to a broad-range of fact contours. I highly recommend these goggles. I will continue to use them and if problems arise, I will edit my post to update it. But so far, there's no need to spend a ton of money on expensive goggles when these are available. Update: after 8 months, I haven't changed any of my thoughts on these googles. They are perfect for me. This fall, when I move to an indoor poor, I will get a pair with clear lenses, to account for the light in the pool, if they are too dark. I haven't read any of the negative comments here. One thing: swimming goggles just aren't going to be 100% comfortable, but you can get close. If they're noticeably uncomfortable, you've either got the wrong goggles or don't have your adjusted properly - or they're old and need replacing. Goggles fit around the most sensitive areas of the face, and if they don't have some pressure on them, they leak. But they shouldn't need a lot of pressure. What's more important is finding the right goggles for your face. I've tried a number of different types and brands; some fit, others sort-of fit, and still others don't fit at all. I don't think that comments about goggle-fit are any good in selecting a pair, because of the differences in people's heads and faces - you just have to try them on. There is a test you can use before you get in the water (it's quick, and if it determines the goggles don't fit, you can return them opened but unused): Open any packaging carefully, so you don't break or tear it, and save it. Before removing any protective cover on the lens and before using them in the water, place them on your face, and press lightly WITHOUT placing the strap around your head (let it flop on top of your head), but holding them in place with your hands. If they don't feel comfortable at this first step, try moving them around a bit (not much room to work with there, though), or adjusting the nose-piece, if that can be done, and again lightly press them on. If they're still uncomfortable, they're not for you. If they are comfortable, pressing them on again lightly. Experiment with the amount of pressure you use - when I press on my goggles for this fit-test, I listen for a small amount of air escaping from inside the goggles. Next, even more lightly, pull the goggles away from your face - you should feel slight suction on your skin. No suction means they will leak. Try this several times, with varying degrees of pressure on your face. If you get suction without discomfort, move to the next step. If suction only comes with discomfort, try some other goggles. If both eye-pieces slightly resist being pulled away from your face (you've got suction!), press them lightly again (again, experiment with degrees of pressure without discomfort) and let go of them (remember, no strap at the back of the head). If they immediately fall off your face, there's inadequate suction, and they will leak, either one eye-piece or both. If they stay for a few moments, then you probably have a good, leak-proof fit. (I'm not sure if using them will cause more flexibility and a better fit, but am not willing to chance it.) Finally, set the strap so that it is too loose for you, then gradually adjust it so that it pulls on the goggles gently. You simply want to maintain good suction as you swim, and you don't need to have the goggles jammed onto your face by the strap in order to do that. With good starting suction, you really only need enough tension on the strap to keep the goggles firmly in place - something that can be achieved by adjusting the location of the strap on your head, without even adjusting it's length. It's important to have the strap in a stable position, usually on the crown of your head. Finding the optimum place on your head with the minimum of tension on the strap will make for more comfortable wear - and probably longer life for the strap, which is often the first thing to go if the goggles start to deteriorate from use. The Aegend goggles fit me with all these tests, so I highly recommend them. Even if they only last a year, that will still save me money over the more expensive goggles which don't do as good a job.

Reliable Clarity and a Solid Seal: A Great Value for Daily Laps
Color: Aqua
The Aegend Swim Goggles are a popular choice for recreational and fitness swimmers because they solve the two biggest complaints people have with goggles: leaking and discomfort. They manage to feel professional without the intimidating "race-only" fit of elite models. Why they are a winner in the pool: - Truly Leak-Proof Seal: They live up to the "no leaking" promise. The flexible silicone gaskets are soft and wide, creating a reliable suction that keeps water out without having to overtighten the strap to an uncomfortable degree. - Panoramic Clarity: The lenses offer a wide field of vision with excellent "Full Protection" against UV rays. The anti-fog coating performs well initially, providing a clear, HD view of the lane lines and other swimmers around you. - Comfortable Bridge Design: Unlike old-school goggles that pinch the bridge of the nose, these feature an ergonomic, flexible nose piece. It adapts to different face shapes easily, making them a great fit for both adults and youth. - Easy-Adjust Strap: The quick-release clasp at the back is a major convenience. You can put them on and take them off without snagging your hair (especially helpful if you're using them with that Aegend swim cap), and adjusting the tension is a simple one-handed task. They are a dependable, high-comfort pair of goggles that let you focus on your stroke instead of constantly clearing out water.

Mostly good goggles, discomfort on nose-bridge - not for big noses!
Color: Black (Black-color Lens)
It's difficult to find good quality goggles that I actually like, but these get pretty close. For context I swim every Monday before work as a workout, so there's a few aspects I look for/are important for me and these tick most of the boxes. 1) Comfort - Probably the most important factor. These are very comfortable around the eyes, the rubber is soft and they don't leave rings. My old goggles always did and walking into work with "raccoon eyes" turns heads. These don't leave rings and are still watertight. Only complaint is the plastic over the nose-bridge is angled inward, towards your nose, instead of outward away from your nose/following the line of your nose away from your face. And it's thick, so it digs into my nose. It's not a game-killer but I feel it and it's uncomfortable. It will be the thing that pushes me to try a different pair next time. If you have a "big" nose or one that curves outward from the top, I don't recommend these goggles. They will be uncomfortable for you. 2) Clarity - These are very clear and don't distort your vision underwater. They don't fog up (at least for now) and provide a wide range of vision. Good work. 3) Fitting - The strap is easy and intuitive to adjust but leaves a bit to be desired as it's a single strap around the back of your head. I like the security of 2 straps/a split strap that straddles the back of your head holding the goggles firm in place and preventing up/down movement. The good news is I haven't had issues with this yet, so it could just be a change in what I'm used to that makes no functional difference, but I'd be a little concerned to dive off a starting block as I'd worry they might release. Again, I HAVE NOT done this and I haven't had any issues, it is just a feeling. The button quick-release is a nice effortless way to pop them off when I finish and I'm tired! 4) Other - The case is a nice touch! I hate my goggles getting scratched and this helps prevent that. Nice to have. Overall - They are comfortable around the eyes, don't leave rings, are clear & don't fog up, and functionally have been great with the quick-release & included case. They may be uncomfortable on "big" or "protruding" noses due to nose-bridge design & thickness. 4 stars because they dig into my nose a bit...and I never thought I had a funny nose but maybe I do!
