The company has been working from its Munich headquarters since the 1960s and now has a team of 60 people. Their designs place a focus on interesting details as well as practical lighting solutions.

The Birdie's Busch Floor Lamp is the brainchild of founder Ingo Maurer, designed in collaboration with his team. Maurer is world-famous designer who received the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 2011 and the 2003 Georg Jensen Prize.

The Birdie's Busch Floor Lamp is a beautiful and whimsical floor lamp that is reminiscent of a magical twisting tree, like something from a fairy tale. The main body of the lamp is made of brass, and the 'tree trunk' base splits off into seven branches. Each branch contains an exposed bulb with elaborate feather detailing and is flexible so that the light can be customised and changed to create different shapes and patterns. The cable is transparent, so does not detract from the overall ethereal look. It has a height of 90cm, a diameter of 50cm.

I love the design of these toys - keep my pooches busy for a good amount of time. However, these treats gave one of my babies diarrhea, possibly due to the sorbitol, a known laxative for dogs :( My dogs are both ~11lbs, and they would only get one disk at a time in their toys, and still one had loose stools. I know it's not the rawhide because he dosen't have trouble with regular rawhide, but these are so soft I can only assume they have too much of other ingredients inside. Update: I just tried the dental disks and my boy that was sensitive to the regular refills has no issue with those. There's definitely an ingredient in these which he is sensitive to.
